As another reviewer noted, this size fills a gap in your emergency kit. It's lightweight and super compact so it's easy to add a few to your bug out bag without the bulk of other clotting products.

Great product
This product fills a big gap between severe life threatening trauma requiring lots of hemostatic gauze for would packing and the simple first aid issues. There are tons of applications for a single hemostatic 4x4 in you med kit when you consider mild to moderate bleeding accidents around the kitchen or garage or campsite or hunting lodge etc. If you do any of these things and have a med kit you need to add one or two of these. Plus there is the added benefit of chito based hemostatic products which work on people who take blood thinners so they are particularly well suited for the civilian med kits. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is I would like to see the price point come down a tad to the 7-8 dollar range. Bottom line, your med kit needs at least one of these.
