Control Wrap 4" elastic bandage is designed to make life a little easier when under stress. A series of brakes is incorporated into each elastic bandage. These brakes prevent accidental un-rolling during application. The brakes also provide grip surfaces during the wrapping process and assist in maintaining the desired pressure and position of the bandage. This is extremely helpful when changing angles during the wrapping process or when bandaging awkward injuries.
By reducing the risk of accidental unrolling of the bandage, you minimize the following risks:
Contaminating a clean bandage.
Waste of a bandage due to contamination.
Lost time while managing loose ends.
Loss of pressure after applying the bandage due to shifting of material.

Smarter Ace Wrap
Do you like Ace wraps? Then you'll love this item. Much like the NAR line of dressings, this bandage does not unintentionally unroll if grip is lost, instead tiny 'locks' will grab the wrap before further unrolling. Excellent build, great for all kits.

Good size
I'm just filling out kits and checking out various combos including wraps. This is good because it's not too bulky and fits in most elastic loops in med packs and bags. I've used a similar product and being able to wrap a large area and not futz with securing it saves time. unlike the adhesive-based wraps I've used before this doesn't appear to attach to itself if you are fighting the wind as well as whatever situation you're in.

Excellent Item.
I have used the 4" Control Wrap in the past. I like fact that it is basically an ace bandage but the velcro through out the roll helps keep it from unrolling if you drop it. I would recommend it to anyone in the medical field.
