Good item to have
I added this to my WFA first aid kit. I used one during my last Afghanistan deployment and firmly believe these are well worth the money (and this was a very good price). Very versatile, compact, rugged enough for repeated use.

Multi-use survival blanket
This blanket is nice for the main use in my med kit for shock treatment. Other than that it makes a great heat reflective wall, ground tarp, and bivvy. As multi-use as this is everyone should have one in their kit. Strong enough to use and fold up to go back in the bag for later use. Try doing that with the little cheap ones from the check out lines.
