This IFAK is the intermediate version of the original Bleeding Control Station IFAK and includes the vital components to Stop the Bleed, in alignment with the White House initiative. The intermediate kit goes beyond the basics and includes a chest seal (vented twin pack) to address penetrating chest wounds and a hypothermia blanket as a part of hypovolemic shock treatment.
This kit can be purchased as a replacement for used supplies, or as a stand-alone kit to keep you prepared on an individual scale. The intermediate option is also available as a fully stocked public access cabinet (a set of eight 8 IFAKs contained in a grab-and-go carrier, with an optional AED-style metal cabinet). It provides the public with supplies necessary to address massive bleeding when and where it is needed.
