DripDrop ORS

Countless studies have proven Oral Rehydration Solutions (ORS) highly effective in treating and preventing dehydration for over 50 years, and are faster, safer and cheaper to administer than IV therapy. DripDrop ORS were developed with a medically relevant, patented formula to optimize electrolyte levels for faster, more effective hydration (comparable to IV therapy). This recipe also has great flavors without having too much sugar (DripDrop ORS contain about 1/3 of the sugar that most sports drinks do).  

ORS were first invented and implemented in 1969, and are still used and distributed globally by organizations such as UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) and WHO (World Health Organization) as treatment for clinical dehydration. The secret to effective rehydration is the precise balance of electrolytes such as sodium, potassium, and magnesium, as well as water and glucose. When this ratio is correct, the glucose and sodium actually accelerates the rate that the body can absorb water. Glucose is the carrier in Drip Drop.

The required levels of sodium and other electrolytes have historically made it difficult to make ORS taste good. DripDrop ORS solved that problem, and has made the most highly effective oral hydration solution, practical for use by anyone when water and sports drinks just aren’t enough.
