Ready-Heat™ II is designed specifically as a first responder blanket to treat shock and hypothermia. It warms to a minimum 100°F/37.8°C in 10 minutes and will maintain that minimum heat for 8 hours. The blanket has a foam core and is lightweight and comfortable. This comfortable warming blanket is also finding many other medical, EMS and other applications where warmth is required.

Actual package dimensions
The package dimensions of this product are 11.5 inches wide by 12.5 inches high and .75 inches thick. This is with the excess plastic covering folded over. It is a well made product with a thick airtight covering. The only downside I see to this product is that it will not fit in most bags because of it's dimensions. It can not be folded over. I am currently storing these in a dedicated hypothermia kits that will accommodate for it's size. I have not put one of these into use yet but I'm sure it will perform well if used properly.
