Proper junctional wound packing is a critical bleeding control skill. The TrueClot Inguinal Packing Trainer is a wearable training aid that simulates a junctional hemorrhage that cannot be treated with a tourniquet and teaches advanced wound packing skills. The trainer can be placed on a manikin or worn by an actor for a higher level of realism. Training blood is pumped through the device to simulate hemorrhage and the large gunshot wound cavity can be packed with a full 12ft. x 3in. strip of simulated hemostatic dressing. Proper wound packing and compression will cause hemorrhaging to stop. When fitted on a manikin a junctional tourniquet may also be applied. The trainer can be worn under or on top of clothing. For the highest level of realism use TrueClot Blood Simulant and Simulated Hemostatic Gauze for realistic blood clotting simulation.
The trainer is for right side inguinal area fitment only. The wound void is about 2" wide, at its widest point, and about 3" from the opening to the back. The front opening of the wound is ¾" and depth is 3”. With proper technique, it is possible to pack a full 3" x 12' simulated hemostatic dressing into the wound.

Use this for EMT class training, works as expected, really well like the shoulder one. I would strongly recommend for any program or course looking for real time training.

Inguinal packer
My company uses mainly Trueclot products, and what makes this product unique is that we no longer need to place the task trainers over someone’s groin or arm pit. Now we can actually simulate a junctional injury thanks to the Trueclot inguinal task trainer. I recently threw on a 2 day stop the bleed training at a law enforcement training center and the students absolutely loved the realism of the inguinal injury. We rotated it between role players and mannequins, to give more a realistic feel. The trainer held up perfect for the conditions we used it. It’s durable, cost affordable, and all around just an AWESOME training aid! If you’re in the business of training folks make sure you pick yourself up one of these trainers if you haven’t already!
