Perfect for first aid kits and cabinets. Unit dose packets contain 1/8 oz. (3.5 gm each) of Water-Jel burn gel with lidocaine. Water-Jel products are effective, versatile, and approved for first aid burn treatment in a pre-hospital setting. Water-Jel is compatible with both wet and dry burn treatment protocols since it arrests the burning process, cools the burned area, mitigates pain, and prevents further injury. Water-Jel products do not contribute to hypothermia or interfere with debridement (removal of damaged tissue or foreign objects from a wound). The water-soluble gel can be easily washed off at a hospital or burn center. Water-Jel is primarily composed of deionized water which is thickened to help it stay in place. Lidocaine provides topical pain relief.

    Excellent product. I burnt my hand when I picked up a plastic grilling tool that was too close to the flame. The plastic stuck to my skin in several places. Within 30 seconds I was in the house applying the Burn Gel as directed. I was able to peel off the plastic that had burned into my skin and have minimal scarring from the incident. it took a week to heal but without the Burn Gel I would have made a trip to the ER. This stuff is AMAZING!

    This is a fantastic product. Burn pain is quickly relieved and it prevented blistering. Skin healed very well.. I highly recommend it.
