The Asherman Chest Seal™ is a proven treatment for open pneumothorax and the prevention of tension pneumothorax in chest injuries from gunshot, stab wounds or other penetrating chest injuries. The unique one-way valve is designed to let air and blood escape, while keeping both out of the pleural cavity.
Features include a circular design with a one-way valve and a special pressure-sensitive adhesive that ensures an effective seal, even over body hair. Its easy-open packaging keeps the ACS™ sterile prior to use. The dressing is 5½" in diameter and is clear, permitting visual monitoring. A gauze pad is included for removing fluids and debris prior to application.

It does the job, but for the price, I could get a pack with 2 chest seals from another manufacturer.

In my opinion the Asherman Chest Seal is the best of what is currently available. Easy of use with built in flutter valve. No need to "burp" the seal like most other seals on the market.

Good design
This is the one venting type I carry. The large hole can easily drain without getting blocked. One downside is it is a litter harder to pack tightly. It does stick well (almost too well for practice!)
