Oral Rehydration Salts

Required treatment for severe diarrhea, or other illnesses where dehydration is a problem. These rehydration salts, made from the standard World Health Organization formula, should be a part of every travel kit, particularly for those traveling with children or in Third World countries. The combination of salt (as Sodium Chloride, 3.5 g. and Trisodium Citrate, Dihydrate, 2.9 g.), potassium (as Potassium Chloride, 1.5 g.) and glucose (Anhydrous, 20 g.) enhances the ability of the large intestine to absorb fluids. Includes instructions.

Directions for use: dissolve in 1 liter of drinking water

Good for three years from date of manufacture.

I'm so glad you continue to carry this product. It's the best electrolyte replacement. Would be 5 stars if you gave a discount for a bulk order.

This is the WHO original formula. I am trying this product to deal with a chronic health problem. I have not reached any final conclusions, but I can say that the product is easy to use, was shipped quickly and received in excellent condition, and the taste of the product is fine.

Great price. Shipped quickly. RE has a good website (responsive to inputs) and the ordering process was fluid. Regarding the product, it helps prevent dehydration. Coupled with regular breaks it allows me to work outside all day in a humid southern climate and not feel drained after. I've heard the taste is not for everyone, but it's basically sugar/salt water. Taste fine to me.

I have tried other rehydration salts but I keep coming back to Jianas rehydration salts. I keep these on hand for those stomach upsets, colds, and other illnesses that can leave you dehydrated. When I do get ill, I feel like my body craves this mixture and it is the only thing I want to drink. When I am not sick, I admit I am not so interested! Other rehydration salts taste funny to me, but this mix seem smooth and pleasant.

Happy I discovered these Jianas Brothers Oral Rehydration Salts. I used to get cramps and headaches after heavy sweating. I now add 1 envelope of the salts to a quart of water and never experience them anymore. Security Essentials is by far the cheapest place to purchase them. They are a necessity in hot weather.

First introduced to these while in the Caribbean. Quickly righted my ship and saved my vacation. Strong believer in this product which was equally approved by my MD when I returned to the States. No sugar but that would help what this product is designed to. I’ve stocked up on these at home. Rescue Essentials is equally amazing having shipped a couple hours after the order was placed.
