The Tactical First Response (TFR) Kit - Basic from Rescue Essentials is intended to provide field personnel with a compact and durable kit to treat severe bleeding. This kit is vacuum packaged for reduced displacement. It is configured to fit into a BDU pocket, vest pouch or individual bag, allowing personnel to carry a compact bleeding control kit on their person, where it is most needed. I bought three of these when they were on sale. Money well spent. Too big for cargo pocket on 511's but they fit in bdu's. A nice conglomeration of stuff. Wish it had celox but it's good anyway.
Well I rated 4 stars because I've never had the need to open it and you cant really judge it all until that day. As far as it goes so far though, the kit looks outstanding. Even simple things like the weight is quite balanced and everything is laid out in a manner that makes it very easy to store in any location. Its the perfect small trauma kit for a back pack but i highly recommend getting at least a set of EMT shears to supplement the kit.
The packaging sells it
So its all good stuff that you are going to need to help with a trauma injury. It is packaged in a sturdy plastic bag and vacuum sealed, reducing the physical size of the total package. I don't like to carry huge kits with me camping or backpacking, so this helps me get good stuff in a smaller package.
