This IFAK is the intermediate version of the original Stop the Bleed Module and includes the vital components to Stop the Bleed, in alignment with the White House initiative. The intermediate kit goes beyond the basics and includes a chest seal (vented twin pack) to address penetrating chest wounds and a hypothermia blanket as a part of hypovolemic shock treatment.
The Bleeding Control Station IFAK - Intermediate kit offers the same components as this module, packed in a red nylon pouch for easy recognition and accessibility.
The intermediate option is also available as a fully stocked public access cabinet (a set of eight 8 IFAKs contained in a grab-and-go carrier, with an optional AED-style metal cabinet). It provides the public with supplies necessary to address massive bleeding when and where it is needed.
