The Halo Chest Seal is a high performance occlusive dressing designed to treat penetrating chest wounds along with securing other wound dressings. The patented hydro-gel provides superior adhesion to the wound area even when moisture, pleural fluids or blood is present. It will work on patients with heavy perspiration or very wet environments. The highly aggressive tack adhesive of the hydro-gel will enable the dressing to conform and hold to the patient's body.
Halo Chest Seals also perform without loss of adhesion in extreme temperatures. Performance tested from -40° to 150° (-40°C to 65°C).
The Halo packaging includes two seals per pack. Unique package provides four notched corners for easy opening but if opened from the top, package can be resealed if both seals are not used in treatment.

Great Product, just a little big

These seals are some of the best of the best. The only bad thing may be the size of the packaging depending on what and wear you application may be. Other than that, they cant be beat. Plus your getting a pair VS just one like some other manufactures sell.
Best chest seal our there at the moment

I have not had to deploy these in a live environment but have trained extensively with these, HALO's and other chest seals. These by far adhere the best on all types of surfaces.

One of the few chest seals that actually gives you 2 seals. Folds easy for storage in cargo pocket or first aid kit.
Everything you need

Good size and fold nicely to fit into smaller kits. Comes as a pair which is always appreciated. Looks and feels of good quality, i just hope i never have to use one.
All the features you want

It's very unfair to review a product that I haven't actually used on a human to treat a sucking chest wound. That being said, military professionals rave about the HALO. It appears to have all the convenient features you want in a chest seal. It's great that it comes with two - entry and exit wound. It folds nicely and fits in both my ITS tallboy IFAK and HSGI bleeder.
