The EVAC-U-SPLINT® vacuum mattress is a fast, effective, and comfortable solution for immobilizing patients. It molds to fit the exact contours of each unique patient's body, eliminating pressure points and additional discomfort. Large padded handles are secured to the perimeter of EVAC-U-SPLINT, enabling a secure grip that is large enough to share handles when handing off a patient in tight quarters. The mattress is filled with thousands of polystyrene beads which not only conform to the body, but additionally act as a thermal insulator to help maintain the patient's core temperature.
