The Mochtech M.I.T.S. device was designed by a U.S. Army Master Sergeant medic to provide realistic training and simulation for soldiers in combat environments. The Composite IV Trainer is the same design but manufactured from high-grade injection molded plastic instead of aluminum, and is intended for the civilian market where conditions may be less extreme.
M.I.T.S. is a compact and self-contained training device used for practicing multiple needle insertion techniques on a single product whenever needed. Traditional needle insertion training products are only made for a classroom setting but this M.I.T.S. is portable giving one the ability to train at any time. The included Neck Attachment provides opportunity for Emergency Cric training, while the Nose Attachment (included) allows for airway training such as Nasos insertion or Narcan administration.
