Tactical Casualty Care Training
Rescue Essentials offers two courses for Law Enforcement and First Responders in Tactical Casualty Care.
Course 1: Four hour overview with emphasis on tourniquet application, wound packing, airway & breathing.
Course 2: Eight hour combination of didactic and scenario-based practical application with an emphasis on the methodology learned in multiple skill stations.

About the Trainers: Tactical Casualty Care Training programs were developed by Phil Carey, President and CEO of Rescue Essentials, with the generous contributions of some of the nation's most outstanding trainers in tactical medicine. Having worked in emergency medicine both at the hospital level and the pre-hospital EMS level, Phil spent a tremendous amount of time co-instructing the past two years before developing this training program. As part of his teaching credentials, Phil maintains his EMT certification within the state of Colorado, although his days of bright lights and sirens are now behind him except for the occasional volunteer staffing role.
