All-in-one foam pad dressing and LATEX-FREE cohesive bandage ideal for wound care and emergency care applications.

-Quick and easy to apply
-Cost effective
-Absorbs the equivalent of 29 gauze pads
-Conforms to wound and reduces maceration
-Will not stick to wound bed
-Provides controlled compression
-Waterproof film prevents leakage, drying out, and contamination
-Dressing stays in place and will not slip
-Less Dressing Changes
-NON-Sterile

It would take 29 gauze pads to absorb the same amount of fluid as one CoFlex AFD bandage.
CoFlex AFD expands when wet, increasing absorption and retention of fluid while keeping surrounding tissue healthy. Gauze does not expand when wet.
CoFlex AFD has a waterproof layer that prevents leakage and contamination. Traditional bandaging is not waterproof.

    absorbant!

I purchased one to test. I used H2o to simulate blood, and this thing swells up to aboit half an inch!!! My only gripe, it's rolled in its package and doesn't store well in a bleeder kit

    Great inovation

I am so happy that they finally offer these in a non-veterinarian form for humans, these are so convenient and will be perfect for hemorrhage and application to burns. the foam wound cover will be perfect to absorb and maintain WaterJel on burns. These will be replacing a couple field/EDT type dressings in my trauma bag.

    Small, but NECESSARY!

When you need a smaller dressing (non-pressure Dx), this is a good one. The OD is not as dark as I would like but, hey, it isn't bright white! Good for tactical use. Fits well in any bag. (exception: not in super-Lite IFAK though)

    Good Fit for the kit

    Posted by James on 02 21 2014

I was please with the size and quality of the bandage. Perfect size for many injuries that don't require a pressure dressing. Very cost effective. The only drawback is the clear plastic packaging is very flimsy and tears easily.

    Perfect for the little ones

Got these for the trauma kit. Most kits exclude the kids. I added these to all my kits cause their needs often dictate what I prepare for. These are small and very flexible. Tested one out on my 5 yr old daughter. Would work on her arms and legs. Much better option than a full sized trauma bandage.
