    quick refill of expired meds

    Posted by Peter C on 03 01 2014

Every first aid that comes with medications has medications that will expire. The life of a first aid kit is much longer than the shelf life of the drugs, so what can you do? Well I used to but a big bottle and supply all my FAKs from there, but proper labeling and expiration dates were always a pain. With this I get the correct labels, expiration dates, don't have tons of excess from a bunch of oversized bottles, and get unit doses as well. I'm happy to get everything replaceable all at once.

Essential Supplies for Emergency Scene Rehab & SAR

Posted by Chris Kelley on 02 27 2014

These packages are an absolute must for Firefighter/Emergency Scene Rehab Units and Search & Rescue! I've found it an invaluable resource, as compared to carrying a half dozen bottles of OTC meds to treat minor illness and injury of firefighters. It contains exactly what you'll most likely need for common complaints that do not require advanced care or transport. I would highly recommend at least two; or one of the larger packs!

    Overall great product

    Posted by Josh on 02 13 2014

These single dose packets are perfect for small/medium IFAKs or the like. My only "complaints" would be: 1. Could use 2 more generic benadryls (for total of 6) 2. In addition to, or better than, the generic tums... Perhaps a generic Dramamine or similar (for nausea/vomiting treatment). Just saying n/v is bigger problem than heartburn. Other than those things, I'm totally pleased. Rescue Essentials puts out excellent products!

Perfect to replenish outdated medications for the boat's first aid kit.

    Decent

Decent variety, but fairly low quantity of meds. It will do for a smaller kit, though.
