Sizing Guide: Medium size typically works for dogs under 60 lbs. Large size typically works for dogs over 60 lbs. Please see chart below for actual dimensions.

K-9 Litter
I tired it on my dog and he worked just fine. But you definitely should include at least a soft muzzle in your kit with it (but a rubber basket type would be better). I tested it and used in to carry my dog a short distance, and while it works ok, the addition of 4 more handles just above the leg holes, would allow a single person to more easily pack out their injured K-9 by allowing you some tie points to attach slings and use it like a back back.
