The North American Rescue (NAR) Tactical Suction Device is a compact and powerful suction unit designed to effectively evacuate the oropharynx in emergency situations. The device is designed to provide a vacuum force of approx 100 mmHg generated by the rebound of the bulb after each squeeze. Evacuated contents are expelled into a clear collection bag attached to the outlet port. The unique double-valved design allows for continuous operation with one hand, while the other hand directs the contoured suction tip, preventing tissue damage.

part of our on-site trauma kit; extremely happy
If you've worked EMS or military medical you know that the manual suction devices that have a pistol grip and require squeezing your hand into a fist a half billion times to build up the negative pressure of an ant suckng a straw. This device actually works, and very easily generates suction. Less effort for working, decent amount (comparable using a portable electric suction with yankauer tip attached) of suction. Takes up a smaller amount of space in the airway section of my bag than traditional (nonworking) manual suction devices. Unfortunately doesn't have any way to attach French (soft) catheters, but we're mainly concerned with suctioning the oral cavity in critical situations.
Summary: the only manual suction product that actually works. Would recommend to all agencies and for all personal kits.
